The R22 Trial Lesson is a fantastic way to get an idea of what its like to be the pilot-in-command of a helicopter. The experience starts with a one-to-one 15 minute classroom brief covering the effects of the helicopter controls. You will then take to the skies where your instructor will let you practice on the dual controls – and at some point during the flight you will take control yourself.
